Friuli Colli Orientali Doc

  • Sight: Straw yellow with golden reflections.

  • Nose: Intense, broad, with great elegance and persistence, featuring hints of honey and rain-kissed wildflowers, along with citrus and mineral notes

  • Taste: Full-bodied, harmonious, with great persistence and elegance, featuring a strong mineral and savory accent. Notes of ripe Golden apple and dried fruit blend with balsamic hints of sage and thyme. The finish reveals a typical tannic note of almond, leading to an exceptionally long, smooth, and saline closure.

Grape Variety: Ribolla Gialla and Friulano

Production Area: Hills of Friuli Colli Orientali – Prepotto (Ud).

Average Vine Age: 60 years

Yield per Hectare: Approximately 4,000 kg

Training System: Simple Guyot

Soil Type: Flysch of marl and sandstone of Eocene origin.

Harvest: Second decade of September, manually harvested in crates.

Vinification: Soft pressing. Static cold decantation. Fermentation at a controlled temperature (18-20°C) in amphora and barrique for approximately 15 days.

Aging: 12 months on lees in amphora and barriques, followed by one year of bottle aging before release.
